Denny Dimin Gallery, which maintains a space on New York’s Lower East Side, will open a Hong Kong outpost on March 29. The inaugural exhibition at the enterprise’s first location outside New York will showcase new work by Erin O’Keefe and Matt Mignanelli.

The gallery’s Hong Kong space will be housed in a residential building in the city’s Mid-Levels neighborhood, and Katie Alice Fitz Gerald, a founding partner of the gallery, will serve as its curator. According to a release, Denny Dimin Gallery “seeks to use the domestic nature of its exhibition space to host ambitious, intimate, and site-specific installations that provide in-depth engagements for the city’s artistic community and new collectors.”

The upcoming show will feature new pieces from O’Keefe’s “Built Work” series and Mignanelli’s “Blue Paintings” series. O’Keefe’s practice incorporates photography, painting, and sculpture, while Mignanelli ponders the nature of light, shadow, architecture, and geometric forms in his paintings.
